Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Shine Player (the "app" and the site shineplayer.shinenows.com) processes, for what purpose, and your rights under the GDPR.

1. Data we process

• E-mail address — when you place an order or activate a licence, to send you your licence code and order updates.
• Device identifier (ANDROID_ID) — to manage the licence and the free trial (one trial per device, to prevent abuse). We also keep the device model and the last verification date.
• Order data — chosen plan, reference, amount, status.
• Website visit statistics — in an anonymous way: no IP address is stored, no advertising cookies. A non-reversible daily hash is used only to count unique visitors.

Shine Player does not collect your playlists, your IPTV credentials, or your viewing history: that data stays on your device.

2. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide the licence and fulfil the order — performance of a contract.
• Prevent free-trial abuse and keep the service secure — legitimate interest.
• Anonymous website audience measurement — legitimate interest.

3. Payment

Payments are made via PayPal. PayPal processes your payment data under its own privacy policy; we never have access to your banking details.

4. Processors and third parties

We use: Brevo (sending licence e-mails), PayPal (payment), ForwardEmail (receiving contact e-mails), and our host (server in Europe). These providers process your data only on our behalf.

5. Retention

Licence and order data are kept while your licence is active, then archived for as long as our legal obligations require. Visit statistics are anonymous.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise them, write to contact@shineplayer.shinenows.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

The site uses no tracking cookie. Only one functional cookie stores your language choice.
